- when or if I started shipping it.: Um, I actually think they may have been my first ship for this show? I don’t know exactly, other than I pretty much start shipping them right away.
- my thoughts: Okay, honestly, I don’t ship them to an extreme amount. And I’m okay with them dating other people. I don’t have FEELINGS over them like I do for my other two OTPs for this show. But to me they just kind of flow together? They’re so similar yet so different at the same time. And in different ways then the fact that they have similar pasts or (negative) quality traits. But they have the similarity that they have chosen lifestyles that make them different from many others. Mostly I just love the utter respect they have for each other and they fact that they’ve remained such close friends all these years after they ended their relationship.
- What makes me happy about them: Them working together and being adorable. Their friendship. Jealous!McGee (jealous!Abby too, but I feel like we see that a lot less). The AU!universe in the 200th episode where they’re married.
- What makes me sad about them: The fact that their past relationship rarely gets addressed and at times I feel like that may be useful or just fit in the storyline, etc. I also feel like the show will never take this pairing seriously as anything other than platonic, so that makes me sad too.
- things done in fanfic that annoys me: Okay this is hard because I don’t read much McAbby fic. Probably partly because a lot of it annoys me because I’m super picky. But um to point out some things, I tend to dislike fic that’s based off scenes from past episodes. Also I don’t under the whole spanking trend that was going on. Like why?!
- things I look for in fanfic: Honestly, I haven’t read McAbby fic in AGES and didn’t read it much when I did read it. But I tend to really like future fic and AUs for them. For them I look for something different then the status quo.
- My kinks: lol Um, I don’t know. Maybe McGee standing his ground with Abby?
- Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Hmm, no one currently. I mean I like the character Beth Riesgraf played but I don’t feel like I know enough about her to say I’d want McGee to end up with anyone else. Obviously I’d prefer if Tim/Abby ended up together in the end but we’ll see.
- My happily ever after for them: Oooo hmmm! I can’t see Abby leaving DC (at least not until Gibbs retires tbh) so I think I can see them living in DC, with Abby keeping her job, but McGee potentially getting a new job. I can see him doing something differently, like the job Vance offered him this season. I don’t know, I just honestly see him staying with the Major Case Unit (or whatever it’s called) forever. I see them having a small nontraditional wedding. And either one or two little adorable geeklets who are mischievous and brilliant and free spirited and keep spoiled rotten by their parents.
- who is the big spoon/little spoon: This is actually a toughie! But I’m gonna go with McGee with this one but Abby is when she needs to be.
- what is their favorite non-sexual activity: Um anything with electronics, obviously. Including video games.
